Today was more exciting than the days prior. It's amazing how we can grasp so much information in so little time. Martha and Ginny you are exceptional Trainers, as well as Jason and Elgin. We, as a group really enjoyed today's technological interactive events. Martha and Ginny, the dinner was filling, I indulged in a five course meal serving several en tree's . First there was the appetizers of Do's and Don'ts for Observations and Visits, while integrating into your prospective schools. We went into building power points demonstrating the importance of following those guidelines.
Then it was followed by lovely ordure's of a film/video of "Did You Know?" Which was quite enlightening and made your mind race with questions followed by thoughts of how to improve the defects in our own society.
Once we thought nothing would come better, here comes Jason and Elgin with their invitation to DOT USA and how to set up your own account to begin after training is complete. There were some kinks to be worked out but overall it was a success. Jason demonstrated each and every single part of the page.
Okay, onto the fun part, the introduction of the Promethean Board, this was an interactive activity. Jason demonstrated and then he had us to interact with the board. Everyone took part, and I do mean everyone. There are so many features on this board that it would take months maybe years to absorb all of its technology. Jason told us the do's and don't of using the board and the pen. He even gave us an approximate purchase price for the equipment. We had great fun.
Finally, the meat and gravy of today's training. Role Playing. Martha and Ginny demonstrated a good and bad introduction to a teacher then it was the Intern's turn. This role play resulted in the assignment of making a Vodcast of an introduction to a staff member in the school assigned. There were a few kinks but overall we excelled. Recording oneself is somewhat nerve racking but I guess we did fine.
Thanks to all staff for being patient with us. I know sometimes it is trying. See you all tomorrow.

INTERN'S AT THE MOVIES WITH TeachUp!
Today was an exciting day. Over all I had lots of fun making the Vodcast and the movie or should I say Digitial Story? Again, Martha and Ginny, you all swept us into a virtual success. Your guidance and upbeat attitudes has given all of us hope. Our learning activities are positive ones and a learning experience as well.
This was not my first time seeing Microsoft Movie maker but it was my first time participating in producing one. I like to be the person behind the scene making things happen but my team member insisted that I not only be behind the scenes, but front and center as well. We were all patient with a few kinks, however, we all worked it out and made the production a success, in my opinion.
Look out TeachUp! Here comes Team #3 building strong bonds and working relationships just like you knew we could. Yeah Team......
